Amongst the fun and games at the weekend the team staying at the bunkhouse built us the start of a hide. The plan is to improve this or move it as we gain experience of its position.
Its a short steep hike up to the top side of the site but the views over the trees make watching the deer possible in the valley opposite. The tree-top birds are closeby giving a good view of them and a clear view of the sky to watch buzzard, kestrel and sparrowhawk amongst others.
